Buc-ee's is difficult to explain but basically it's a huge gas station with great food! It is VERY Texas :) It is north of the hotels in Richardson, about 25 minutes away (without traffic).

Bishop Arts, located in the North Oak Cliff Area of Dallas across the Trinity River from downtown, is a fun little area filled with some of the best restaurants, boutiques, and lounges that Dallas has to offer.

Deep Ellum, known as the "live music capital of North Texas", is an entertainment district with a vibrant night life. There are many cool bars, restaurants, and street murals. We recommend checking out Pecan Lodge during the day for Texas barbecue, and if you 're there at night be sure to stop by the prohibition-styled speakeasy posing as a candy shop, Truth & Alibi.

The Truck Yard is an outdoor beer garden with several great food truck options. It's conveniently located in the "Lower Greenville" area of Dallas, which is home to many other fun bars and great restaurants.

Get a 360 degree view of the DFW metroplex here, and stop into the rotating cafe or diner.
