Parker & Gabi met for the first time on Halloween. Although they went to the same high school a year apart (2013&2014), they never knew each other while in school. Little did they know they did have a lot of mutual friends. It was at Zach and Ryan Huesman’s Halloween party in 2014. Gabi went alone, and Parker said he didn’t want to go but his friends made him (LOL). After that Halloween party Parker and Gabi started hanging out and officially started dating in November 2014.
Over the next 9 years Parker and Gabi broke up and got back together more than once, but ultimately, they came back together stronger.
Fast forward to March 2021, Parker and Gabi started looking for a house of their own. In March 2022 Gabi's parents moved to their new house and Gabi moved into Parker's parents' house. On April 29, 2022, with the help of friend and realtor Julie Munchel, Gabi & Parker closed on their first home! They officially moved into the house in June. And over the next year Gabi's dad fully transformed their 1987 townhouse into their dream home!
At the beginning of the summer in 2023 Parker's family decided to take a trip to Ocean City all together! Gabi and Parker's sister-in-law Erin had talked about taking family pictures on the beach since everyone was going to be down at the same time, they planned color coordinated outfits and everything. Every time Gabi would bring it up to Parker he would moan and groan about taking pictures. Come to find out Parker was the one that actually told Erin to coordinate said family photos with Gabi because he planned to propose during the pictures! Parker even had family friends Kevin and Maura come to help distract Olivia (thank you for videoing this special moment)
July 28, 2022 Parker popped the question, and Gabi said yes!
After Parker and Gabi got engaged of course everyone kept asking when are you getting married? Did you pick a date yet? etc., etc.
Parker jokingly said to Gabi wouldn't it be cool if we just went somewhere out west and got married? thinking that Gabi would veto the idea, thinking he was crazy to suggest such a thing. But to his surprise she was 100% on board! That is when the idea to go to Sedona, AZ to exchange vows was born.
They started planning their trip for October 2024 in August 2023, picking out the perfect Airbnb, hiring Gabi's talented family friend, Darian Smelser, for the photography. Picking out a dress and suit to wear.
Parker and Gabi will exchange vows while adventuring in Sedona, AZ just days before the anniversary of them meeting 10 years prior. And the following weekend they will get the celebrate with all of their closest friends and family!
