Visa for US Passport Holders

Visa-on-Arrival: If you meet the requirements, you can apply for a visa on arrival at some international airports, seaports, or land crossings. To apply for the visa on arrival, you must have an ordinary (non-emergency) passport with at least 6 months of validity from the date you plan to enter and the date you plan to leave Indonesia and a return or onward flight booking to another country. There is a 500,000 Indonesian Rupiah fee (about $35). The visa on arrival is valid for up to 30 days. You may extend a Visa-on-Arrival once at the immigration office one week before it expires for an additional 30 days for a maximum of 30 additional days, for another 500,000 Rupiah.


Electronic Visa-On-Arrival: You may also apply for an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) in advance if you are entering Indonesia at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta or Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. Visa for India Passport Holders


There are two types of visas available for Indian passport holders for tourism.


B1 Visa (visa on arrival) - A person who is a national of visa on arrival country/special entity who will be visiting Indonesia for recreational purposes for no longer than 30 days.

1. Cost: IDR 500,000

2. Document Requirements

A. Passport valid for at least 6 months.

B. Outbound ticket from Indonesia.


Tourist Single Entry Visitor Visa - A person who plans to visit Indonesia for the purpose of tourism for no longer than 60 days.

1. Cost: IDR 1,500,000

2. Most tourist visas are processed within 5 (five) working days

3. Document Requirements

A. Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months (for holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc. must be valid for 12 months).

B. A recent color photograph.

C. Proof of living expenses at least US$ 2,000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or equivalent;

This visa must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.
