Our Wedding

We first met when I (Pashen) needed someone to take over my spot on an apartment lease. My roommate knew Lex and mentioned he was looking for a place — and just like that, our paths crossed. Lex had a close-knit group of friends who would often come over to hang out and party, and I’d pop in from time to time. Before long, we formed a genuine friendship filled with great conversation and endless laughter. Even though it wasn’t our time to date, there was always a special connection between us. Nearly 30 years later, a chance meeting at a mutual friend’s birthday party changed everything. That familiar spark returned — only this time, it came with the peace, wisdom, and grace that life’s journeys bring. As we reconnected, we realized that every path we had taken — raising our children, growing, and finding ourselves — had led us right back to each other. Now, after all these years, we know our love was simply waiting for its moment. And that moment is now — the beginning of our forever.
