For those who’ve wondered how we met and the journey that has brought us to sharing with you all the joyous news of our engagement from October 29, 2024. Drew and I initially met like many people nowadays through the help of online dating, in our case Match. We learned relatively quickly as we got to know each other that we lived in neighboring towns within roughly thirty minutes drive of one another. Despite all his family’s teasing about it…we met the first time on a bowling outing. Yes (Willam’s family), I now know Drew didn’t bowl. While yes, he acknowledged to me it’d been since middle school age that he had last been bowling we chose for of outing to meet at a bowling alley. Somewhere around January 7, 2023 Drew asked if I was interested in dating so the journey continued (following of all things an escape room outing that we didn’t make it out of 😂). Fast forward a couple more years of becoming best friends and partners “in mischief” 😈 and we seem to have discovered something in one another that we didn’t realize we were missing or had planned but, we knew we had stumbled into an amazing journey together and didn’t want to miss the opportunity to possibly build a life together. So while not completely intentionally we both grew ready to prepare more earnestly for our hopes and dreams of a shared future together. Thus while out on a fall picnic 🧺 Drew proposed to me and the crazy 🤪 roller coaster ride of life both individually and now collectively has continued.
