Matt and I met on Hinge, the dating app. in Fall of 2019. We then had our first date on November 11, 2019 at O'Fallon Brewery during a snow storm. Thankfully, Matt decided to brave the cold weather to have a beer with me or who knows... would we be here today? Shortly after the first date, we couldn't wait to get together for our second date. We continued to date and became exclusive January 2020. There shortly after, the world shut down and we survived dating through the pandemic. Knowing that we could survive the pandemic with each other, our love grew stronger. We each knew that we were meant for each other.

Flash forward 4 years on our anniversary, Matt took me out to dinner where he proposed to me in the Central West End, where he had a photographer to capture this special moment and had our family and friends waiting for us to celebrate right after! Then the fun began where we started to plan our forever special day.
