St. James Roman Catholic Church has a private parking lot. PLEASE BE ADVISED - there will be a festival on Main St. (the front entrance of the Church). We recommend carpooling & arriving early in order to avoid traffic delays due to detours. There is NO shuttle to/from the Church.

Tashua Knolls has a large parking lot that is open to the public. While, there should be ample parking, we advise carpooling with a responsible designated driver. There is a shuttle between Trumbull Marriott and the reception at Tashua Knolls but there is NO shuttle between the hotel and the Church.

Please RSVP with your choice of food for the main course. There will also be an antipasto bar, multiple passed Hors 'doeuvres, a pasta dish & a mixed green salad.

Please inform us of any dietary restriction via the RSVP tab. You can reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

The cocktail hour will be outside (weather permitting) - bring your best lawn-game skills. The dinner & dancing portion of the evening will take place indoors.

There will be an approximately 1.5 hour gap between the ceremony & reception to allow for pictures. Feel free to visit any of the bars or sites to see listed on the "Things to Do" tab on this website. You can peruse Main Street Festival (located right outside of the Church) but please save your appetite for the cocktail hour & dinner.

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adult only event so that everyone can relax & enjoy the evening. We will do our best to get contact information of possible babysitters in the area if you are in need.

While we wish that we could include everyone on our special day, in order to stay within our budget, we can only accommodate the people written on the invitation.

YES! We ask that phones are not out during the ceremony at the Church but please feel free to snap away at the reception and post with our wedding hashtag #BecomingDoctorWags

Yes! There will be a shuttle between the Trumbull Marriott Shelton & Tashua Knolls. The first shuttle will leave the hotel at 4:30pm. The last shuttle will leave Tashua Knolls at 10pm. Only 28 people can ride the shuttle at a given time so please plan accordingly. There is NO shuttle for the Church ceremony.
