Yes, rooms will be blocked at the Quality Inn (2901 Hummingbird Rd, Wausau, WI 54401). However, there are also many local Air B&B that you can book as well!

We ask that those attending the wedding to wear semi-formal attire (no jeans). But please remember that September weather is temperamental.

We will be renting the building across the street to prepare the wedding party. In the case of inclement weather we will use the building for the wedding as well.

Timekeepers, the reception space, will be open at 5pm. You are all welcome to be there at 5 . However, some ideas from the grooms' party: drink, eat, drink, nap, drink, or most importantly drink!

We will have heavy hors d'oeuvre served by Lisa's at Lakeside. There will be hot and cold food, which of course represents the typical Wisconsin fall temperate.

The long and short of this answer is we aren't sure. Depending on the space we would love to have a first dance and a mother-son dance, however, with the venue being smaller, and the weather being undetermined, we are unsure as of yet what to expect of the dancing situation.

We will have a photographer throughout the day at both the ceremony and the reception. There will be a designated time between the ceremony and reception for photos. Thus, it is asked that members of family stay after the ceremony for family photos.
