We both grew up in South Bend, Indiana. The first time we met was in high school, at Riley. Funny enough, we actually both went to Kennedy and LaSalle Academy, and we were there at the same time for years but didn't really know each other. Throughout both of our four years at Riley, we shared similar friend groups and we would always find ourselves at the same events. Building our relationship that started from a friendship is one of the things we treasure most.

Patrick graduated in 2013 and went away to school at IU Bloomington. Kasey graduated in 2014 and stayed home at IUSB. We had stayed friends throughout this time and kept in contact frequently to see how the other was doing. Somewhere along the way we reconnected and decided to go on a date finally! After what had felt like years! We had our first date at Michigan City Beach and took pictures near the lighthouse. It was the most beautiful night. After that, we spent the entire summer together and started officially dating!

Over the years we have accomplished a lot of great things together. We both graduated college and got great jobs. We got an apartment together. We went on many vacations together and went out of the country together as well for the first time. We bought a house! We have been slowly putting the pages together of our story over the years and making tons of memories as we go.

Fast forward to December 2022 and we are on a beach in Los Cabo Mexico about to go to dinner for our anniversary when he gets down on one knee asking me to marry him! It was the easiest yes of my whole life. We had the most amazing trip in Mexico and even went snorkeling for the first time. It was a magical trip.

This is just our story so far. We are so excited to continue adding pages to our book together. The big day is going to be so special and we can’t wait to spend it with all of you!
