Where in Washington, D.C. should you stay?
All of the wedding events will happen in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Northwest, D.C. The three hotels recommended under the Travel tab are all walking distance from the ceremony and reception.
Where can I park if I drive to the ceremony?
If you drive to St. Matthew's Cathedral, there is limited street parking. Please read street signs carefully to avoid getting a ticket.
The garages located next to the Cathedral are closed on Saturdays, but you can park in the garage next to the venue (1333 New Hampshire) and then walk ~3 blocks to the Church.
Where can I park if I drive to the reception venue?
There is a parking garage next to the High Point 1333. You may park here for full day or just the evening parking. If you park here before the ceremony, you may leave your car through the reception. The price to park is $13 a day.
Can I metro to the wedding events?
You can metro to the Dupont Circle stop on the Red Line to both St. Matthew's and the High Point 1333.
What should I do in between the ceremony and the reception?
There is a gap between the ceremony (2:30 p.m.) and the reception (6:00 p.m.). You are welcome to relax at your hotel until the reception, or you can check out the "things to do" tab for some ideas about how you might spend your free time.
What is the wedding dress code?
The wedding attire is cocktail.
Transportation to downtown D.C.?
If you are flying into D.C., try to fly into DCA (Reagan National). This airport is on the metro, or a quick uber/lyft ride into the Dupont Circle neighborhood of D.C.
If you choose to fly into BWI or Dulles airports, you will have a longer travel time to arrive into downtown D.C.
Are children invited to the wedding?
Unfortunately our wedding reception is not kid-friendly.
