Patrick and Krystal first met at Loras College in 2018. Patrick was a sophomore on the men's volleyball team while Krystal was a freshman playing volleyball. After watching Krystal on the court and seeing her stats, Patrick didn't hesitate to strike up a conversation with her in the cafeteria and they continued to talk whenever they were around each other. On October 18, 2018, Patrick asked Krystal to be his girlfriend.

Patrick took Krystal home to meet his family and explore the city of Chicago!

Patrick and Krystal continued to support one another through both of their volleyball seasons.

Patrick and Krystal graduated from Loras College together in May of 2021. Patrick started his first job and Krystal went on to pursue her Master's Degree at Loras.

Patrick and Krystal went to their first Packer vs. Bears game at Lambeau field. Krystal's been working on converting Patrick the past 5 years, but he's a tough one to crack.

In 18 degree weather, Patrick convinced Krystal to get out of the car and proposed to her at the A.Y. McDonald Park. After the engagement, Patrick and Krystal enjoyed the Dylan Scott concert that night and an engagement party that weekend!
