Patrick and Angelina first met in July 2023 at Abilene Christian University. Patrick was a student-athlete, playing football while completing his master’s certificate in Public Conflict Resolution, and Angelina was finishing her junior year. Introduced by a mutual friend, they quickly formed a close bond. By October, their friendship had blossomed into something more, and Patrick officially asked Angelina to be his girlfriend.

When the semester ended, Patrick returned home to Florida in December 2023, turning their journey into a long-distance courtship. Despite the miles between them, countless FaceTime calls and cross-state visits kept their connection strong.
