In true modern love fashion, Patrick and Nicole met on Hinge in 2021. Little did they know a simple swipe led to a first date at Four Brothers Restaurant in Mahopac, NY. Patrick still jokes that Nicole hardly ate and barely said a word clearly playing it cool (or maybe just a little nervous). But despite the quiet start, something just clicked.

Over the next year, Patrick became a regular fixture on the couch at Nicole’s family home, quickly winning over everyone with his easygoing charm. That December, Nicole got to experience her first Iowa Christmas when Patrick brought her home to meet his family.

In 2022, they moved into their first apartment together in White Plains. It was there that they truly started building a life as a team—filling their space with laughter, cozy routines, and way too many takeout containers. They loved creating a home together.

Then came a snowy January morning that changed everything. While Patrick was ironing his pants (yes, really), he told Nicole they were heading to her parents' house in Carmel. But when they arrived, right in front of the Blink camera at the front door, Patrick got down on one knee and asked Nicole to marry him. It was the easiest yes Nicole has ever said.

Now, surrounded by their favorite people, Nicole and Patrick are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of their love story—one built on shared adventures, everyday joy, and a future they can’t wait to keep writing together.
