As we are not having a wedding party in the American sense, in this section you will find information about the venue and the city where our party will take place:
Our party will be held at the Grand Hotel in Łódź. Located in the historical building from the 19th century, in the very middle of Piotrkowska Street, it is one of the most recognizable landmarks of Łódź's history.
Łódź (pronounced Woodge) is the third-biggest city in Poland. It is conveniently located only an hour away from Warsaw, Poland's capital. It has been treated as Warsaw's "ugly sister" for many years, but it is now recognized for its industrial past and artsy present. Łódź wasn't destroyed during WWII (which was a sad fate for other big Polish cities), which allows for admiring the old architecture and communicating with the city's unique post-industrial climate. Known as a "city of 4 cultures", Łódź actively draws from its history as a crossing of Polish, German, Jewish, and Russian cultures. Still treated as a "hidden gem" of Poland, it offers aa unique opportunity to discover authentic Central European experience.
