In September of 2018, we met working together in the Neuro ICU at Vanderbilt as bedside nurses on nightshift. We were very good friends for a long time, working together and spending time together outside of work with our group of friends. We became closer as our friend group moved away or went back to school and slowly grew to be fewer people.

In July of 2022, we realized that what we had together could be more, and we started quietly dating, since we still worked together. After three months of quiet, we announced we were together and have been living and loving ever since. Falling in love with your best friend was one of the easiest things either of us had ever done.

Patrick proposed in August of 2024, and Joslin said yes. We cannot wait to start this new chapter of our lives together!
