"Hey trouble, it's Pat from Hinge"....

Pat and Abbi met in the fall of 2022, after matching on a dating app. They met up for coffee at his favorite coffee shop in Hingham. Against what people always tell you not to do... Abbi happily got in Pat's truck to go to Bear Cove Park for a walk. There they walked and talked, getting to know one another. From that day on, they knew each other were special.

In the next few months, they began to spend a lot of time together, becoming mostly inseparable. Abbi met a large amount of Pat's friends at a friends-giving (really "trial by fire" style) and Pat met Abbi's friends over dinner and then a trip to NY. They met each others' families and now consider them their own.

In December 2022, Pat made the relationship official by asking Abbi to be his girlfriend while down in Newport. A few weeks later, while on their way to Autozone, Abbi was staring at photo booth pictures of them. When she let out a small laugh, Pat asked what she was giggling about and she replied "I just love you". After getting an "I love you too" back, they both already knew it was meant to be. Just a few short months later (April 2023), they "jokingly" went engagement ring shopping, where Pat and Abbi both knew where the relationship was heading. 1 year later (April 8, 2024), Pat made this a reality by proposing to Abbi at Hull Gut during the sunset, where they had previously spent many nights watching the sunset together.

Through many date nights, cooking, and slow dancing in their kitchen, their love has continued to grow everyday. They are now onto their second apartment together and have a rescue dog named Sadie.
