In 2010, Patrick and I first crossed paths in sophomore year of highschool in 5th period Geometry class. I had initially tried to change my schedule just to align with my friends' lunch period, but fate had other plans as my request was denied. Patrick was acing the class effortlessly, while I found myself struggling to keep up. Determined to improve my grades, I mustered the courage to strike up conversations with Patrick, seeking his guidance. Despite his initial shyness, Patrick's sense of humor quickly broke the ice between us. We bonded over music, shared laughs, and gradually began to uncover each other's personalities. Surprisingly, I found myself eagerly looking forward to math class – a sentiment I never imagined having! It was clear to everyone, except maybe Patrick at first, that I had developed a big crush on him.

From two teens in math class to hanging out outside of school, Patrick and I have grown and matured together. Now, 14 years later, we are more than ready to take the next step and become husband and wife!
