What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

We ask that all guests plan to arrive absolutely no later than 4:30pm to give you ample time to park, find the ceremony space, use the restroom, find your seat, or take care of any other necessary business. This will help us ensure that we can start the ceremony right on time at 5pm.

How is the parking?

Los Robles has a large, free parking lot right next to the venue! You'll be able to self-park there all night.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We have a few invited family members with children whom we have contacted directly. Outside of direct family, we will be having a child free wedding, mostly due to the presence of an open bar at the reception.

Can I Bring Non-Registry Gifts?

We would never turn down gifts offered in earnest, and we're grateful for whatever people want to or are able to share with us. However, we're also very excited for the non-profit registry and hope your main gift would be made there.

What is "Cocktail Attire"?

The knot has a detailed guide for this question: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire But overall we're looking for something slightly beyond semi-formal attire.

Can I just RSVP via text or in-person?

No. We'll be happy to hear this news any way you share it, but we'll also direct you to the formal RSVP page on this website, just to help get official confirmation and to help us (and our coordinator) to stay organized!

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Uber or Lyft are likely to be the easiest options to and from the venue! However, you can also take the number 41 bus to the Rolling Oaks Dr. & Moorpark Rd. stop. The venue is roughly a six minute walk from that stop.

Can I get an AirBnb or Vrbo instead of a hotel?

Of course! Thousands Oaks is far enough from downtown Los Angeles that there are plenty of neighborhoods around the venue that might have a short-term rental that better suits your needs!

Are the dogs staying for the party?

Sadly no! Coco and Stubby will be a delightful part of the wedding ceremony, but they'll be heading back home after the vows to get some dinner and some rest.

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

The entire wedding will be outdoors. If there is rain, we'll put a tent over the venue space.

What is the weather like in the area?

October weather in Thousand Oaks, CA averages a high of around 75 degrees with a low of 55. The area averages around one day of rain per month.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

We made sure to include all invited guests on the invitations. We wish we could share this day with even more people, and are grateful for everyone's understanding in the budgetary limitations on indulging such a desire.
