Our story began online in October 2019. On our first date, we got coffee + tea at a coffee shop and walked around outside for a while. It was clear to us both how well we hit it off that first day. Since then, our relationship blossomed slowly but surely. We went on many dates and even took a couple of trips together over the winter season before the world changed.

Once the pandemic hit, we tried to remain positive and took the time to get to know each other better. Our days consisted of long walks outside, reading dates under blankets, and trying out fun new recipes together. Despite all that went on around us, we knew were lucky to have each other. Spending this time during quarantine helped us grow much closer. We realized how easy it was to be together and how much we loved each other.

Just before New Year’s Eve this year, we once again got some coffee + tea, and walked around outside for a while. It was a beautiful day, just like any other. Andrew took us up to an overlook, with no one else around, and proposed. It was intimate, perfectly sweet and a total surprise. We did not have any doubt in our minds that we were in love and ready to spend the rest of our lives together.

It feels as though we’ve always been on the same page and are so looking forward to the next chapter in our lives.
