Long before we officially met, our paths were already intertwined. We spent our childhoods on the same ball fields, church and later both attended Appalachian State University. It was at App State that Brandon says he first saw me and declared to his friend, Im going to marry that girl one day. 😂Though the timing wasnt right then, and we went on to live separate lives—marrying, having children—God had a plan we couldnt outrun.

Two decades later, fate intervened when Brandon became my son’s 8th-grade Social Studies teacher. I noticed him for the first time! ☺️ The true connection began years after that, when he taught my twin daughters in P.E. Our journey hasnt been a straight line, but we believe that despite our human choices and mistakes, God always had a plan. Our story is a testimony of love, grace, forgiveness, and healing. It proves that the greatest loves are the ones worth waiting for, beautifully orchestrated by God. Even when we take the long way around, the truest loves always find their way home. We can’t wait to celebrate the start of our forever with you!
