Our Love Story

Picture of Our Love Story

Trey will tell you he first noticed Patsy in September of 2020, when she was the only girl in a local Fayetteville bar watching the primetime ESPN game on a Thursday night. Little did he know she was cheering on her dad who was the wide receivers coach for Tulane University at that time. Fast forward a month later at the infamous Z-Bar, Trey introduced himself to Patsy where she discovered that he was coaching for the Arkansas Razorbacks and his boss was none other than Patsy's older sister, Callie. They sent a selfie to Callie and exchanged phone numbers. The next day, Patsy made the first move by reaching out to Trey (he says it was the other way around but he's wrong). They hung out for the first time when Trey invited Patsy to sit with him at the Alabama vs. Arkansas football game. Most Razorback fans have tried to block that day from their memories, Trey and Patsy, not so much. They had their first date at Bordino's on Dickson Street where they discovered all the things they have in common over spicy margaritas and pasta. Second semester of their senior year, Trey moved back to Little Rock to work for the family boat business and finish school remotely while Patsy stayed in Fayetteville finishing school. They made it official in February of 2021 and then spent every weekend doing anything they could to see each other. It was March 2022 when Patsy moved to Little Rock (aka The Big City) and they were long distance no more. Now they spend their time bonding over their love of football, lake days on an Aloha Pontoon, ordering way too much food at restaurants and most importantly, their families. God really knew what he was doing when he put these two together and their love is undeniable. Cheers to forever for Patsy and Trey Cox.
