Patsy & Allison

Our Love Story

Patsy and Allison met in July, 2021. Their first date was to Crimson Cup Coffee, and all these years later, Patsy still cannot believe Allison was willing to drive on North High Street to meet her.

Allison proposed on May 5, 2024 in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Allison told Patsy they needed to run an errand to pick something up from a friend about an hour away. Allison asked Patsy if she'd like to tag along to visit a park and get dinner on the way. It turns out, there was no errand! Allison had planned a surprise proposal at Glen Helen Nature Preserve. Of course, Patsy said yes!

Patsy and Allison love to spend their time exploring parks like Franklin Park Conservatory, spending time in nature, and eating breakfast together on the balcony. They love having game nights and sharing sweet treats with their friends. Patsy and Allison dream of travelling the world together, with their Bucket List vacation being New Zealand, where they would see Tongariro National Park and the Shire. They are excited to grow old together and spend their lives enjoying each other's company.

Because we are having a small celebration, we have not reserved a block of rooms at a particular hotel. Camp Ken Jockety is only about 20 minutes away from Downtown Columbus. If you would like advice on where to book a hotel, please contact Patsy or Allison.

Patsy and Allison's favorite date spot. We love the Palm House, the Miniature Train and Bird House display, and the sweet potato fries from the cafe.

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

Our favorite bakery. We recommend anything they sell, especially the Strawberry Bears, Yuzu Tarts, and Matcha Roll Cake.

Belle's Bread Japanese Bakery and Café

This is one of our favorite stores, which has 32 rooms filled with books.

The Book Loft of German Village

Many of Patsy and Allison's first dates included eating Graeter's Ice Cream for dinner. Allison loves the Mint Chocolate Chip, and Patsy's favorite is Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip.
