Originally from Apple Valley and Santa Ana, both Eli & Patty landed in Orange County after their university studies.

It was late 2020, the pandemic had started, and Eli's boss at the time was incidentally Patty's sister in law. One day, she asked Patty if she was seeing anyone and if not, she thought one of her engineer co-workers could really hit it off with her. Apparently he was funny and smart, and they should go for a cup of coffee.

So, Patty thought, why not?! She took his number down and texted him later that week, inviting him out. He texted back. To her delight, he was charming, witty, AND thoughtful. As they started to text back and forth and accept ig requests, they found they both enjoyed the other's virtual company. So, it was decided they would meet for coffee after work the next week.

The day came. They met with masks on, walked around downtown Orange, and finally came to a stop at Urth cafe for that cup of coffee. During the whole date they shared plenty of stories, laughs, and a sense of easygoing banter. Their companionship was easy and their similar goals and values made it that much better.

So, one month turned into two, and three, and four... and two and half years later they still laugh and love the same with a little extra. They are now ready to say their "I Do's"- to continue their journey of forever working together, as husband and wife <3.
