Our story began on a cold winter day almost four years ago, on January 16, 2021, at Whole Foods (sounds like something out of a Lifetime movie, haha). Anywho, I was standing in line waiting to check out when, all of a sudden, someone ran into the back of me. I turned to yell, and I saw Tori, who immediately started to apologize. I tried to ignore him, but he was too much of an extrovert, so we proceeded to chat about how we were both in the food industry and eventually decided to exchange numbers.

Two weeks later, we went on our first date to a bowling alley, which almost didn’t happen because Tori thought I was a stalker— all because I asked if he had a sister named Olivia, not knowing that she and I had previously worked together. Fast forward through time, and marriage was brought up a few times. I told Tori we had to wait another year and a half, but I didn’t abide by what I said and surprised him by popping the question at the Garden Glow a few days before Christmas (most definitely out of my comfort zone). But that’s what love is. Here we are today, surrounded by all of our loved ones.
