It all began on a dating app, where Paul bravely messaged Jerry… and then messaged him again… and again… and again (persistence is key, folks). Eventually, Jerry responded—perhaps out of curiosity, perhaps to reward Paul’s perseverance. They hit it off instantly and spent days chatting on the app before leveling up to texting and FaceTiming. Sparks were flying, even through the screen! Paul kept trying to convince Jerry to visit him in NYC, but there was a slight hiccup. Jerry, seeing Paul in a Cardinals t-shirt on his profile, thought&nbsp;Louisville&nbsp;Cardinals… naturally assuming Paul lived in Kentucky. In reality, it was an Arizona Cardinals shirt, and Paul was very much in New York City. Thankfully, geography didn’t stand in the way of fate. Jerry booked a flight to NYC, and the rest—awkward sports mix-up and all—is history.
