Getting to Sitges
Sitges is a small coastal town 35km south of Barcelona
Sitges is serviced by Barcelona Airport.
You can get to Sitges from Barcelona airport by taxi, by car, by train, or by bus. Some hotels in the town also offer airport transfers.

Barcelona Airport (BCN) has 2 terminals

Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2)
T2 has 3 separate buildings (T2A, T2B and T2C).
For guests travelling from Dublin, Aer Lingus and Ryanair both operate multiple daily direct flights from Dublin to Barcelona Airport. Vueling (a Spanish airline) also operate a direct flights from Dublin to Barcelona (One afternoon flight from Dublin to Barcelona and one afternoon flight from Barcelona to Dublin Daily.)
For guests travelling from Dublin on Tuesday May 9th, we recommend the Ryanair Flight FR3977 on Tuesday May 9th from Dublin.

Casa Fèlix check-in is after 15:30 and most hotel check-ins are after 14:00. Details on getting from Barcelona Airport to Sitges are provided below.
There is a coach arranged to collect guests travelling to Barcelona on the morning of Tuesday 9th May. The coach will leave Barcelona airport at 13:00 and bring guests to Sitges.
The coach should reach Sitges at about 13:30-13:45. The coach will stop in Sitges for a bit, and then continue onto Casa Fèlix at 15:00.
For guests staying in Casa Fèlix, leave your bags on the coach and get some lunch. The coach will bring you from Sitges to Casa Fèlix at 15:00.

Below is information on how to get from the Airport to Sitges by Coach, Bus, Train, Taxis, or Car Rental. We have made the journey many times, so if you need any help with transport of further information, let us know and we will help you out.

There is a complimentary coach service arranged on Tuesday May 9th, 2023.
Coach pick up.......: 13:00 (Barcelona Airport(El Prat)
The coach will stop off firstly at Sitges for guests staying in Sitges town, and then continue onto Casa Fèlix for guests staying in the house.
For guests that are returning on Tuesday May 16th, 2023, There is a complimentary coach service arranged to bring guests to Barcelona Sants Train Station on Tuesday May 16th, 2023.
Coach pick up time from Casa Fèlix: 10:45
For those flying out on Tuesday evening on either the Ryan Air 16:55 flight or the Ryan Air 20:05 flight, there is a luggage storage facility (Jisu Bikes) 350m from the train station, if you want to hang around Barcelona for a few hours. (You will have to pre-book this facility using Stasher.com, as they work on a only reservation basis. See our FAQ section on how to book in your luggage.)

Bus:

The bus from Barcelona airport to Sitges leaves from the front of terminal T1.
If you land at T1 there is a free shuttle bus to T2, that you will have to get if you intend to take the bus to Sitges.
The bus journey time from Barcelona airport to Sitges is about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic and the time of day.
The bus (Monbus) leaves more or less every hour on weekdays from 07.40 to 22.40 and every 2 hours from 08.40 to 22.40 on Saturdays and every 4 hours from 09.40 to 21.40 on Sundays.
The Bus from Barcelona airport to Sitges will cost approximately €7 per person.
Disruption to rail service in Barcelona (South Line - R2 Sud)
There is going to be 3 to 4 weeks of disturbances to the rail network between Barcelona and Sitges.

The train from Barcelona airport to Sitges leaves from the RENFE terminus directly opposite T2B
If you land at T1 there is a free shuttle bus to T2, that you will need to get if you intend to take the train to Sitges.
The train is not direct, you have to change lines at the first stop: "El Prat de Llobregat", to get another train to Sitges. It is a very easy change over and we have done the train journey many times. The train journey time from Barcelona airport to Sitges is about 45-60 minutes. Depending on wait times for a train at the airport and then at 'El Prat de Llobregat' for the Sitges train. (Average wait time is about 15 minutes).
The first train leaves the airport at 06.00am, and the last train leaves the airport at 22.59.
Directions:
1. Take the RENFE airport train from T2. It is a 5 minutes journey from Barcelona Airport to 'El Prat de Llobregat' (The first stop).
2. Get off the train at ‘El Prat de Llobregat’, and change lines to get either the 'Vilanova G' or the 'St. Vincenç de Calders' train to Sitges. It is a 30 minute train journey from ‘El Prat de Llobregat’ to Sitges.
The trains run frequently every 20 minutes or so on weekdays.
The train from Barcelona airport to Sitges will cost approximately €4.10 per person.
For guests staying in Casa Fèlix additional transport from Sitges train station to Casa Fèlix will be needed. Taxis are available at Sitges train station, the 'FreeNow' app also works in Sitges, or alternatively other guests staying in the house that have rented cars may be able to accommodate.

Terminal 1: There are taxi ranks at T1, in the arrivals zone (P0) and in the Barcelona-Madrid air corridor.
Terminal 2: There are taxi ranks in front of T2A, T2B and T2C.
A taxi from Barcelona airport to Sitges will cost approximately €70.. (Expensive alone, but it is not too bad if you are sharing!)

Car Rental

You will find car rental companies in both T1 and T2B.
Car Rental is around €300 for the week, depending on the car type.
For guests staying in Casa Fèlix: There is parking available at the house, Just contact Paul or Brian to confirm availability.
For guest staying in Sitges: Don’t forget to check when booking with the hotel or Apartment if there is parking available.
The access road to the airport, the C-31 Barcelona-Castelldefels dual carriageway, connects with the C-32 Barcelona-Sitges, and travel is straight forward all the way.

For guests staying in Casa Fèlix additional transport from Sitges to Casa Fèlix will be needed. Taxis are available (numbers will be provided), alternatively other guests staying in the house that have rented cars may be able to accommodate. Casa Fèlix is about a 10-15 minute drive from Sitges.
There is a bus from Sitges to Olivella - L2: From Passeig de Vila Franca (North of the town, across the train tracks). But it is not recommended as it is not very reliable - There are only about 5 buses on weekdays, 2 on Saturday, and none on Sunday. The bus also takes quite a long time (between 46 mins - 1 hr) to get to Olivella.
