We met on Bumble, so you'll see our bee 🐝mascot! Our first date was a hike at Ward Pound Ridge with our dogs Louie and Maxine. I chose a route I knew well. After an hour we came to a fork in the trail. Left would lead to the parking lot, right would carry us deeper into the reservation for another hour+. We chose right, pun intended! 🐝

So he had me at "sea plane"! Two months in he got me up on cloud 9! 🐝Thank you Bill and Carolyn for this extraordinary experience! They also graciously offered their speed boat for our engagement day. So generous!

Our first trip away alone together was to Steamboat Colorado. This was when we knew we were uncommonly well-suited for each other. We played outside all day and night, it was just so much fun!

Our first trip together to Utah went better than we could have hoped, even though I destroyed my ACL :). Traveling was even more fun all together.

So we went on another incredible trip, to Croatia! We visited Dubrovnik, boated the coastline, beached, kayaked, ate and even went to a night club!

Paul invited me to Napa for our 1st anniversary. This was his serious wine tasting face.

For Paul's birthday, I pulled out the Rose Dom Perignon 2004. That was how we both knew it was serious, ha!

2023 was full of travel as a Llanowiigli bunch. The trip to Chicago to celebrate Paige and Libby's engagements was a great time. Thanks Peggy for so many hookups on that trip! Go Wildcats!

NYE! MISTLETOED OUR WAY INTO MY LUCKIEST YEAR OF ALL, 2024!

2024 has been such an incredible year! We kept skiing in VT, traveled to Colorado as a bunch. The kids all appreciated the fact that they could stay at one house whenever Paul and I were at the other! Serious bonding for everyone. And Adam and Amelia got accepted to MSU and SDSU!

We got engaged at Ward Pound Ridge, the place we first met and hiked with our dogs almost exactly two years earlier. We also said "I love you" there in March 2023. We designed our wedding as a way to share our favorite spots and activities with you, all at Mountain Lakes, Memorial Day weekend 2025!
