Almost 10 and a half years ago Paul flew over to Birmingham to meet up with a young lady called Samantha. It took him 7hours to find her house where she lived with her mom, Jacqui, her lil sister Georgia, and the 2 cats Sally and Bert.

Bert was the original scaredy cat - but he took to Paul like an old friend. Samantha saw how Bert got on with Paul, and thought she'd give him a chance.

For Paul it was pretty much love at first sight, Samantha took more persuading - it wasn't until a trip to Stonehenge in June that they both said they loved each other.

Paul was fairly certain he'd met his soulmate and invited Samantha to his home town of Belfast. Lots of craic was had and the pair even managed to get down to Dublin for a quick Guinness tour of the storehouse.

On New Year's eve, in Eddie's Rock Night at the Tunnel club and surrounded by friends and future in-laws, Paul popped the question and Samantha said YES!

Fast forward 8 years and due to a wordlwide pandemic - Paul got the opportunity to move to Birmingham full time, and he's lived here ever since.

In fact it will be almost 2 years to the day that Paul left Belfast to start his new adventure being a Brummie.
