Born in Bukavu, D.R. Congo, Naomie Bana Ammba is the 11th child of the late Papa Batherlemy and Maman Furaha. At the age of 12, she and her family made the brave move to Toronto, where she completed her high school education.

Bana’s early years were characterized by a deep love for reading, gymnastics, and leadership activities, all of which contributed to her vibrant and ambitious personality. While she is naturally introverted, she becomes more extroverted around those she feels comfortable with. Known for her articulate nature and passionate opinions, Bana is someone who speaks her mind with conviction. Her sisters often tease her about how she always has something to say!

In 2017, Bana moved to Ottawa to study International Economics and Development. Although her initial plan was to remain in Toronto, she felt strongly that relocating to Ottawa was the right choice, and it is clear now that this move was God's plan for her life. It was during her undergraduate studies that she met Paul, who quickly became a central part of her life. After earning her bachelor’s degree, Bana continued her academic journey with a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Ottawa.

Bana shares Paul’s love for Christ and has a keen interest in theology, especially apologetics. She is passionate about defending her faith and sharing the message that Jesus Christ is the Almighty God.
