Can I bring a plus one?
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP.
Can I take photos during the wedding?
Yes, we would love to see what you captured the day of. Although we do have the most amazing photographers and videographers making digital magic happen all day. All we ask is to please put your phones and cameras away for the ceremony, first dance and important moments to please allow space for our photographers and videographers to work. Please no flash photography at any point in the ceremony or reception.
What should we do in the time between the ceremony and reception?
Go for a nice walk in the sun or kick your feet up for a bit!
We had our first date and got engaged at Dallas Road which is a waterfront park 5 minutes down the road from the ceremony venue. Our reception venue also has a wonderful waterfront boardwalk and park for you to explore in the waiting period. Reception venue doors will open at 4pm, so please allow yourself enough time to get to the venue.
Will there be transportation?
There is uber/taxi to call for after the reception if needed.
Is there parking at both locations?
There is a public paid parkade next to the ceremony venue as well as street parking (View St. Parkade: 743 View St, Victoria, BC V8W 1J9). At the reception venue, there will be parking right outside of the building (and yes, it is safe to leave your car overnight).
Wedding attire? What should you wear?
Our wedding attire will be formal which means that guests are to wear their best! For men, we ask you please wear a suit and for women, a nice cocktail dress or pantsuit. Keep in mind that the ceremony is being held in a church so stay modest (aka, chest/midriff covered and dresses at minimum knee length). Please no loud and flashy colours/patterns, hats, shorts, jeans, sneakers/running shoes or athliesure.
Are kids invited?
Your invitation will include your children if they are invited.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both venues are indoor venues although the reception venue has wonderful grounds and balconies for you to enjoy!
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! If you can't make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so that we can plan accordingly.
When is the RSVP deadline? How do I do it?
We kindly ask that you RSVP by April 1, 2025. We are doing all the RSVPs on this website, please click on the RSVP tab.
Where are you registered?
Thank you very much for thinking of us and wanting to give a gift. We are registered with Amazon (www.amazon.ca/wedding/share/paulandteresa2025).
Is there a spot to smoke?
We apologize to those who smoke but there is a zero tolerance policy for smoking on reception property. It is heavily enforced with fines to the wedding couple.
