Get to Know the "I Do" Crew
Declan McDonnell - Co-Best Man
Dylan and Declan have been best friends since Kindergarten—and after 25 years of friendship, they’re more like brothers. From sharing the same class all the way through 8th grade to heading off to the same high school, their lives have been side by side from the start. Declan was such a part of Dylan’s world that he even joined in on family trips to the shore and made frequent visits to Dylan at college—joking that the University of Delaware was practically his college experience too. Declan is the kind of friend who listens without judgment, always knows how to bring calm when Dylan needs it most, and has simply always been there. Dylan truly can’t remember life without him, and he wouldn’t want to. Dylan is so excited to have Declan as one half of his Best Men and couldn’t imagine getting married without him standing by his side. It wouldn’t feel right any other way.
Lindsey Sowers - Co-Maid of Honor
Lindsey and Paul have been inseparable since they were eight years old and living just three doors apart. Over the years, their bond has grown into something more like siblings than friends. Lindsey is the kind of person you call in a crisis—steadfast, honest, and always ready with a plan. She’s a passionate, fiercely loyal friend who never stops rooting for the people she loves. From their days singing together in their high school A Cappella group (Allegro Forte forever!) to countless theatre productions, Lindsey and Paul have shared a stage—and a lifelong friendship. No matter the season of life, Lindsey has always shown up with unwavering love and support. They’ve been there for each other through every up and down life has thrown their way, and having her by his side means the world to Paul.
Christian MacHenry - Co-Best Man
Christian and Dylan first met in Kindergarten, and over the past 25 years, their friendship has grown into something more like brotherhood. Dylan honestly can’t remember a time in his life without Christian in it—and he wouldn’t want to. Even though they haven’t shared a class since first grade—and at times even went to different schools—that never put a dent in their bond. They’ve been there for each other through every high and low, always showing up with unwavering support. From joining each other’s family vacations to simply being constants in each other's lives, their friendship has stood the test of time. Dylan is beyond proud to have Christian as one half of his Best Men and couldn’t imagine this day without him by his side. Their friendship has been a lifelong journey, and this celebration wouldn’t be complete without him.
Natalie Donisi - Co-Maid of Honor
Paul met Natalie through Lindsey, who had done theatre with her first—but once they were introduced, Natalie instantly became part of the family. Now, Natalie and Paul have been friends for 14 years. Over those years, Natalie has become like a little sister to Paul. Natalie is the calm, grounded presence in the group—the one who can gently rein in Paul and Lindsey’s… let’s say, more passionate personalities when needed. She’s one of the kindest, most thoughtful people you’ll ever meet—and also a master of all things crafty (seriously, her Cricut skills are unmatched). Paul and Natalie have shared the stage many times, but Paul's favorite was Mamma Mia, where they invented a completely original ensemble storyline just for fun. Natalie and Paul have always shown up for each other—and now, on the happiest day of his life, Paul is overjoyed to have Natalie standing by his side once again.
Bailey O'Brien - Groomsmaid
Bailey isn’t just Dylan’s older sister—she’s also one of his best friends. Growing up, they were the classic younger brother/older sister duo, full of playful bickering, shared mischief, and lots of laughter. Over the years, that relationship has only deepened into something truly special. Even with Bailey now living in another state, their bond remains as strong as ever. Whether they’re laughing at videos of people falling, sending each other TikToks, or quoting their endless list of inside jokes, the connection is constant. Their dynamic is lovingly compared to David and Alexis Rose from Schitt’s Creek—equal parts hilarious, chaotic, and full of heart. Dylan is so excited to have his sister by his side on this day and couldn’t imagine getting married without her there.
Joshua Sigall - Groomsman
Paul met Joshua on day one of his life—because they’re brothers. Growing up, they were each other’s built-in best friend, playmate, and partner in imagination. From wild childhood adventures to navigating life’s bigger challenges, Joshua and Paul have been through everything together and have only grown closer because of it. They’ve always stood by each other, and now Joshua will stand by Paul on one of the most important days of his life—something Paul wouldn’t have any other way. Also, fun fact: Joshua introduced Paul to Dungeons & Dragons, which quickly became one of his all-time favorite hobbies. So if Paul ever goes missing on a weekend to the mountains to play D&D, you probably have Joshua to thank.
Monica Pontari - Groomsmaid
Monica is Dylan’s cousin, but she's always felt more like a sister. Growing up just across the street from each other, they shared not only a neighborhood but a lifelong bond filled with laughter, games, and heart-to-hearts. During Monica’s senior year of high school, Dylan was a freshman—and instead of taking the bus, he got to ride in style with her in her iconic red Mustang. Monica has always been someone Dylan could count on for anything—supportive, dependable, and full of love. He’s always cherished being part of the trio with Monica and Bailey, growing up side by side, playing Mario Party, Wii Sports, and making memories that still make them laugh today. Dylan is so grateful to have Monica standing with him on his wedding day—because she’s always been right there beside him.
Matt Bock - Groomsman
Paul met Matt during his time as a supervisor at Staples, where Matt started working in the copy center. They hit it off right away, and that summer, Matt became a regular at game nights—quickly going from coworker to close friend. Since then, their bond has only grown stronger, and now Paul is honored to be the Best Man in Matt’s own wedding. Matt is the kind of person you can sit down with for hours and never run out of things to talk about. He’s living proof that some of the most meaningful people in your life can arrive when you least expect them—and stay for the long haul. He’s kind, hilarious, and perfectly matched to Paul’s sass. Whether they’re deep in a D&D campaign, battling it out in a board game, or diving into a late-night philosophical debate, Matt is always down—and always valued.
Mark LaRue - Groomsman
Dylan met Mark during his very first semester at the University of Delaware when they lived on the same floor in Redding Hall (shoutout, Redding!). They instantly clicked, bonding over a shared love of Dragon Ball and video games. By senior year, they were roommates—and by then, more like family. Dylan was there when Mark and Maggie first started dating, and he was honored to stand beside Mark as a groomsman on his wedding day. Now, he’s thrilled to have Mark return the favor. Even with Mark living in Boston these past few years, the two have always made it a priority to stay connected—whether through FaceTime, D&D sessions, or long-overdue catch-up visits. Having Mark stand beside him means the world to Dylan—and he wouldn't want it any other way.
Bella Capelli - Groomsmaid
Paul met Bella through Matt. His first impression of her? Well, she brought Matt a milkshake to Staples where the two of them were working... and didn’t bring one for Paul. He’s still holding that over her to this day—and probably will forever. Since then, though, Bella has become so much more than just “Matt’s girlfriend.” She’s a true soul friend to both Paul and Dylan—always showing up for game nights, to play Survivor, and, of course, a great session of D&D. Bella is the kind of person who would drop everything for the people she loves. She’s warm, thoughtful, and the kind of friend you can hang out with for hours and never want the night to end. Paul is also honored to be the Best Man in her and Matt’s wedding, and now he’s just as honored to have her standing by his side on his own.
Christian Ruth - Groomsman
Dylan met Christian during their first semester at the University of Delaware—another proud Redding Hall connection! They later became roommates during junior year and quickly cemented a lasting friendship built on late-night gaming sessions, deep-dive conversations, and a shared obsession with Game Grumps (they even saw them live in Philly—twice!). Luckily, living just one state apart has made it easy to keep the friendship strong. Whether it’s D&D nights, intense board game battles, or cheering Paul on in his shows, Christian is always around—and always brings good vibes with him. Dylan is so glad to have him standing by his side on the big day.
Hannah Marcellina - Groomsmaid
Hannah and Paul first met in 4th grade choir but became fast friends in 7th grade when they had the exact same class schedule. Life did its thing, and they drifted—only to reconnect in junior year of high school, when their friendship truly stuck. Years later, they remembered that they had been friends in 7th grade all along (whoops), and now they laugh about "forgetting" their original friendship. Hannah is also endlessly supportive and always down for whatever wild idea Paul throws her way—whether that’s Backyard Survivor, the South Jersey Amazing Race, or any other chaotic adventure. She brings joy, warmth, and a whole lot of laughter to their lives, and they couldn’t imagine this day without her by their side.
Ian Heffner - Groomsman
Dylan met Ian during their first semester at the University of Delaware—yes, in Redding Hall (shocking no one!). From late-night video game marathons in Ian’s dorm to deep conversations and lifelong memories, Ian has been a trusted confidant from day one. When Paul met Ian, the friendship was instant. Ian has been incredibly supportive of them both—attending Paul’s shows, sitting through more than one D&D session, and even answering the call when Paul asks him to spend an entire day playing Survivor in his mom’s backyard. He’s the kind of friend who shows up fully—whether it’s for the big moments or the wonderfully ridiculous ones in between. He brings a calming presence, quick wit, and an easy laugh to every gathering, making everyone feel a little more at home. Paul and Dylan truly couldn’t imagine a better person to stand beside them on such a meaningful day.
Liliana Pyfer - Groomsmaid
Lily may be Paul’s youngest cousin, but their bond has always felt more like siblings. Paul has had the joy of watching her grow from a tiny baby into the strong, confident young woman she is today—and he couldn’t be prouder. Everyone loves to point out that Lily gets her sass from Paul (and honestly, they’re not wrong). She’s his mini-me in the best way, with a shared sense of humor, bold spirit, and a whole lot of love. One of Paul’s favorite memories with Lily was during a family game night playing the Magic Kingdom Game—not exactly high-stakes competition. But when Lily started winning, she leaned in like a mob boss, scanned the table, and commanded everyone to fan their cards out by saying “Fan ’em out!” In that moment, Paul saw the spark of playful, competitive fire he knows so well—and knew the sass had officially been passed down. Through every chapter of life, Lily has brought light, laughter, and unwavering love to Paul’s world. Having her by his side on this special day just feels right—it wouldn’t be complete without her.
Maggie Billingsley - Officiant
Paul and Dylan are deeply honored to have The Reverend Doctor Margaret Billingsly (aka Maggie) officiating their wedding. Dylan met Maggie during his sophomore year at the University of Delaware through Mark, and it was clear from the start that she was never just “Mark’s girlfriend”—she quickly became a close friend in her own right. Dylan loved cheering her on at improv shows (shoutout to the Rubber Chickens!) and always appreciated her quick wit and open heart. Paul met Maggie during Dylan’s senior year, and the two hit it off right away. Since then, Maggie has become a dear friend to them both. She’s the kind of person you can always count on for a meaningful conversation, a good laugh, and sincere kindness. Paul and Dylan couldn’t imagine anyone better to lead them into this next chapter.
Sean Elliott - Flower Man
Paul and Dylan met Sean when he started dating Lindsey, and he quickly worked his way into their hearts. Sean is one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. He may be quiet, but when he speaks, it’s always with wisdom and thoughtfulness. Behind that calm exterior is someone who’s always game for a laugh, a late-night hangout, or—in this case—gracefully tossing petals like his life depends on it. Paul and Dylan are so thankful that he and Lindsey found each other—not only because Sean is such a wonderful partner to her, but also because he’s become a true friend to them both. Sean was the perfect choice for Flowerman, and Paul and Dylan know that he will absolutely rise to the occasion—with style, charm, and just the right amount of flair.
