About the Venue:
Our wedding will be held at the Slaven Family “Farm” — though don’t let the name fool you! It’s not a working farm, so you won’t find any barnyard animals roaming around.
Curious what it looks like? Check out this aerial video captured by SJ Creative last October for a preview:

Any guidance on how to dress?
We ask that guests dress in cocktail attire with a garden party twist—think modern Bridgerton meets whimsical elegance. Feel free to interpret this in your own style!
For ladies: we love festive fabrics like satin, chiffon, or velvet in either solid hues or romantic florals. Elegant sparkle is always welcome as the bride LOVES a little sparkle.
For gentlemen: if you have a tux , now is the time to break it out! If no tux or suit, dress pants with a dress shirt are perfect—ties are optional, personality is encouraged.
Our wedding colors are champagne, blush, sage, and hunter green, but you’re welcome to wear whatever makes you feel your best.
The entire celebration—from ceremony to afterparty—will take place outdoors on grass. October in Kentucky can be anywhere from 50° to 80°F, so please dress accordingly. Layers are encouraged, and we suggest bringing a sweater or wrap for the evening chill, along with shoes that are grass- and dance-floor-friendly!
What is on the agenda for cocktail hour?
Open bar, charcuterie/finger foods, jazz music, and a few yard games.
Whats for dinner?
Mexican food - buffet style. Chicken, shrimp, steak and all the fajita, taco, and nacho fixings. There will be a gluten free and vegan friendly option.
Will there be an open bar?
No! JUST KIDDING! Yes, open bar, but I am sure the bar tender would appreciate some cash tips. There will be beer, wine, mixed vodka drinks, and jack and coke.
