Q + A

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal or cocktail attire.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Y'all it's Texas in June. It will be in the 90's during the day and drop into the 70's at night. (Pro-Texan tip: let it breathe.)

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will take place outside in late-afternoon. Hopefully this means we will only be in the 80's. There is a full walkway and the "grass" is actually turf; so if you are planning on wearing heels, go for it!

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the patio where the bar will be open!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

10. What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive within the hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time. We are an "as scheduled" couple. So, out of respect for those who show up on time, we will start on time. (Barring an uncontrollable event. EX: an accident blocking the highway.) If you are running late, thats ok, we will see you at the reception, but please refrain from interrupting the ceremony.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

The venue has parking that is free to all of our guests!

Are kids welcome?

Of course! Who else would we get down and boogie with on the dance floor? However, if they are having a hard time during the ceremony, totally understandable, please take them away from the ceremony so it is not disrupted.

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Check out our hotel tab to see where we have a block! If you are wanting to use points, or find your own, we give our area recommendations there too.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

If this is something that concerns you, all locations in the venue can be accessed by wheelchair, except for the private suites.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

We will be having Hard Eight BBQ and beverages will be served!

Where are you registered?

Click the registry tab on this website to see all the places we are registered!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

IT DEPENDS! During the ceremony we ask for you to remain unplugged. Please be in the moment with us! We know it is tempting to get your own photos, but we are hiring someone to take photos for us, and we don't want your phone in our pictures. However, we encourage guests to post pictures from our reception, our only request is that you tag us in your photos so we can keep track of all of your pictures. We look forward to seeing what y'all capture!

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Reaching out to the bride or groom, via text, is the best way to seek answers. Our mommas might know a thing or two as well!
