After a couple of days of just talking and getting to know each other over phone calls and text, Rocky thought it would be best to just meet and see if this will work out. Our first date was at Buffalo Wild Wings watching the college softball world series. Rocky was a former softball coach for many years, and Paula's love of the game was evident. We spent the entire day together with conversation easily flowing. From that day forward our love grew as much as our love for sports. Even though we have to agree to disagree who the best team may be, it has never made the rivalry any less. And even though Rocky may be a Yankee fan, he still won her over!

As many of you know, Paula has two little dogs that have been her entire world. They have been there through the good and bad times of the past few years and are very special to her. The true test to see if we would work out was to see if the girls liked him. Easy to say that the sassy one (Maggie) fell in love with Rocky and ever since they have been the best buddies. While Sami will tend to pick momma over him, she is starting to be won over as well...easy to do when he shares snacks :).
