Taxis are readily available and the hotel can always set you up with a taxi anywhere you would like to go. Please keep in mind that you will need cash for the taxis and only take the YELLOW taxis. Uber is not available in Oaxaca.

Most guests are flying into Oaxaca on Wednesday, January 8th, since Volaris offers nonstop flights only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Departures are mostly scheduled for Sunday, January 12th and Monday, January 13th.

January is a beautiful time in Oaxaca. Temperatures are relatively cool and arid, with highs ranging from 77–85°F (25–29°C) and lows dropping to 47°F (8°C).

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and parade will be held outdoors and the reception will be indoors with some outdoor space to lounge in as well.

Quinta Real is like a fortress in the heart of downtown Oaxaca. Once inside its walls, you'll forget you're in the middle of a bustling city, because inside of the walls is a quiet serene oasis (well... until the reception starts). All wedding day events, except for the parade (la calenda), will take place at Quinta Real. The rooms for our wedding guests will be surrounding the pool, so everyone will be staying in the same area. These rooms are conveniently located just outside the reception hall, making it easy to pop back to your room if you need to grab or drop off anything!
