is the day Cody and I matched on bumble. It was my last day of school with students and Cody was working at CVS Starkville. If you don't know how bumble works, the girl has to message first to initiate conversation. One of the biggest things that stood out to me on Cody's profile was his mentioning and love for the Lord, so of course I swiped right! We both talked about how evident it was on our profiles that we both loved the Lord and it was very important that whoever we matched with was too! I was in the gym when I got the notification of a new match and I immediately sent him a simple "Hey! What are you up to?"! Once we got over the initial hellos, we struck up a conversation that led to me giving Cody my number!

is the first time we FaceTimed! This is the first time Cody got a glimpse at my crazy, hyper personality and he still chose to ask me on a date. This was the start of our daily FaceTimes that we have every single day!

was the first day he had off that he could take me on a date. Only problem was that I also had to "coach" my first soccer game at the state games and did not know what time I would get done. He showed up just as our last game was ending and all my soccer girls were giggly and talking about him some even waved at him to embarrass me.... As soon as the game ended we went to my house so I could change and he met mom and dad. Then we went straight to El Norte to eat! Yum!! When we were done eating El Norte we drove over to Nana's so she could meet Cody! After he met Nana, we went to Yoo Yoo's and had some frozen yogurt and made our way back home! Once we got home we watched Extraction 2 with Gracie and Mason where it took just about the WHOLE movie for him to hold my hand... he's such a gentleman! I didn't want the night to end so I convinced him to watch Grey's Anatomy. Before he left, he said "I have a really important question..... will you be my girlfriend?". Of course I said Yes!!!!! (this was the only picture I took the whole time because I was so nervous)

was our second date, first double date with Shelby and Colby. We went and ate Sake Sushi and watched the new Little Mermaid. Cody claims this is our first actual date because I was his girlfriend.

he finally let me drive to Starkville, I told y'all he is such a gentleman!! We started out at Chick-Fil-A and went to the gym after. When we got done at the gym, we got frozen yogurt at Local Culture and played Connect 4. He drove me around Starkville for a little while and then when it was time for me to go, he followed me to a gas station to pump my gas for me so I wouldn't be alone!! Y'all seeing the pattern of how much of a gentleman he is??

is the day Cody asked me to spend the rest of our lives together! We started out watching Inside Out 2 in theaters and then we came home to change to go eat at Weidmann's. After we got done at eating, we came back home and he told me he wanted to show me something in the back yard! At first I didn't expect anything because it was our one year so I thought he was just being sweet! He eventually got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!
