We originally met in college but didn’t reconnect until years later, when fate (and a dating app) stepped in. A few dates in, we were inseparable. Before we knew it, we were living together (with our dog, Athena, of course!) and navigating life’s twists and turns side by side.

Since then, we’ve tackled night shifts, job changes, surprise medical detours, and a whole lot of chaos—together. In true us fashion, our “proposal” story is a little unconventional. One particularly wild week turned into a courthouse marriage (hello, health insurance!), and while we may have done things a little out of order… that’s just how we roll.

It’s not traditional, but it’s very us—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
