Discovery Green is magical during the holiday season! Head over to green space in the middle of the city for some lights, hot chocolate, and even skating on an ice rink. An ice rink in Texas is definitely something to see! This is within walking distance from Payton and Marco's apartment, and even where they had their first date!

The Houston Ballet debuts the Nutcracker during this time at the Wortham Center. Fun fact, Marco and Payton saw this ballet on the day we got enagaged! Safe to say Payton enjoyed it more than Marco did!!

The Houston Zoo presents Zoo Lights during the holiday season. The zoo is located very close to where Payton and Marco are getting married. Lights are strung in all of the trees and even in some exhibits. Some of the animals at the zoo are even out and dance to Christmas music. This was one of Payton and Marco's favorite dates during the holidays.

Payton and Marco's favorite Vietnamese Restaurant in EaDo! The host even knows them by name! Marco orders the number 56 and Payton always gets either pho or vermicelli noodles. You won't regret visiting this secret Houston gem!
