What date should I RSVP by?
We kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted by April 30th. This will help us finalize our plans and ensure everything is perfect for our special day. Thank you in advance for your prompt response!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, alongside the Spanaway Lake. Please dress comfortably and consider the lakeside environment to fully enjoy the outdoor festivities with us.
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
Both our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the same beautiful location:
17228 10th Ave S, Spanaway, WA 98387.
Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
Parking at the venue is quite limited, with only about 25 spots available. Given the venue's close proximity to TCPC—just a 10-minute drive away—we strongly encourage our guests to consider carpooling.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a smooth experience for everyone.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
We're going for a semi-formal/cocktail attire vibe for our wedding day. For gentlemen, this typically means a suit and tie or a smart jacket and trousers. For ladies, a cocktail dress or an elegant skirt and top would be perfect. We want you to feel comfortable yet festive, so please dress in a way that makes you feel your best while embracing the celebratory spirit of the day!
What is the weather like in the area?
Our wedding date, June 15th, 2024, falls in the lovely early summer season in Spanaway, WA. Historically, early summer weather in this region tends to be mild and pleasant, with average daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s Fahrenheit. While we’re hoping for clear skies and beautiful weather, we recommend preparing for the possibility of a light breeze or a brief shower, as the Pacific Northwest is known for its unpredictable weather. Bringing a light jacket or a wrap and considering layers could ensure you’re comfortable throughout the celebration.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We’ve given lots of thought to our guest list to make our day as intimate and personal as possible, which means we’re asking everyone to stick to the invites as sent. We absolutely adore each and every one of you and wish we could have everyone’s plus ones join too, but due to space and planning considerations, we've had to make some tough choices. We hope you understand and can’t wait to celebrate with you - it means the world to us to have you there!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We initially hoped to include them in our celebration. However, after much consideration regarding the venue and the nature of our event, we've decided to have an adult-only wedding. This wasn’t an easy decision, and we understand it may require extra planning on your part. Please know we’re truly grateful for your understanding and cooperation. We hope that this notice will help arrange childcare, ensuring you can relax and enjoy a wonderful day with us. We're looking forward to celebrating this special occasion with you and creating unforgettable memories together!
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We're beyond excited to share a taste of our heritage with you on our wedding day, featuring a buffet of Korean and Taiwanese cuisines!
Will there be an open bar?
We've decided to go with a bring-your-own-beverage (BYOB) setup for our wedding! This means we warmly invite you to bring a beverage of your choice to enjoy and share during the celebration. We will have two designated locations where you can place your drinks: one for your own drinks and the second location where people can share the drink brought.
