What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Dressy Casual Attire: This term may sound contradictory, but it is used to identify the style between casual and semi-formal attire. Consider what you might wear to a special dinner at a fancy restaurant.
Ladies, a mid-length cocktail-style dress or a top and skirt combination is generally the most appropriate option. Heels and formal accessories are still okay,
For guys, a dress shirt and dress shoes with dress pants or even chinos are recommended, with a tie, vest, or jacket optional. Don't worry, the AC at the Country Club is very good!
One important note regarding dress code at the church for ladies… as you pick the styles that suits you best in a dress, keep in mind that the ceremony will be in a Catholic Church and there is a dress code. Dresses that are low-cut, strapless/off the shoulder, or dresses with slits are frowned upon. Bring a shawl to cover any exposed skin for the church.
We do request guests refrain from wearing white/cream or ivory.
Do we have a gift registry?
Yes and no. Your love and company on our wedding day is the only present we require! However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, contributing to our honeymoon or the Casa Alvarez funds would be much appreciated.
Can we bring our kids?
As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adult-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you can let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!
Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation includes you and a guest, we look forward to celebrating with both of you! Please make sure you RSVP accordingly. If anything changes, please reach out to us to adjust the count.
