Our story started 10 years ago, as juniors at Elon University. Perri had just returned from studying abroad, and Dawson happened to move into the apartment across the street. Dawson had the LOUDEST car that he loved to park next to Perri's window, which served as her alarm clock every morning :). Eventually Dawson worked up the courage to introduce himself to her. By working up the courage, that was him knocking on her door and entering her apartment as she was trying so gracefully to break in kids sized overalls for a party later that night. By the grace of God, that sight somehow did not scare him away. Flash forward to the summer of 2016- Perri took a train from the East coast of Florida to the West coast of Florida to visit this boy she had a crush on. Never in a million years did she think she would settle down in Tampa, where her college experience began. She actually attended University of Tampa for one semester, and vowed to herself that she would never go back to that city. Well, leave it to fate for her to fall in love with the guy next door at Elon, who was from Tampa. After graduation, we lived in Charlotte for 2 years together, adopted two kitties Snoop and Loki, and began to build our foundation of what life after college looked like. Dawson eventually moved back home to start up his business, and Perri stayed in Charlotte for an additional 2 years, before moving to Nashville for PA school. Despite the time difference, 705 miles, and nearly 4 years long distance, they persevered. Actively cheering each other on every step of the way. Now, Perri is a practicing PA, while Dawson is making big strides in his business, Brothers Broadleaf, while Snoop, Loki, Walden, and Gossie are living rent free in our house!
