Q + A

What is the dress code?

The dress code is garden semi-formal attire. For this time of year in Charlotte, we suggest the following attire: Women: Sundresses, dressy separates and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony on the lawn. Men: Light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks with a jacket and tie.

Can I bring my children?

While we love children, our venue is only set up to accommodate a certain number of guests. Please do not bring additional guests that are not listed on your RSVP form as it will cause disruptions with seating and food.

Can I bring a plus one?

As our venue and caterers are set up to accommodate a specific number of guests, we ask that you do not bring a plus one unless it is specified on your RSVP form.

Who is invited to the welcome party?

Anyone! We only ask that you indicate on the RSVP form if you are planning to attend so we know how much food and beverage to accommodate.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, we will be having an outdoor ceremony overlooking a beautiful vineyard. In this case we recommend wearing light, breathable fabrics as well as wedge heels or dress flats for women. After the ceremony there will be an indoor/outdoor reception.

What is the weather like in the area this time of year?

September in the Carolinas can sometimes be unpredictable. Often, it can be hot during the day but can get chilly in the evening. We recommend checking the forecast about a week prior to the wedding to be sure.

Will you be serving alcohol?

We will be serving beer and wine for any guest above the age of 21. If you are planning to drink, we ask that you arrange for transportation to and from the venue to avoid drinking and driving.
