In 2014, Perry came downstairs to find her brother Harrison had brought his roommate, Taylor, to their parents’ home for the weekend. Neither knew it then, but more than 10 years later, Taylor would ask her to marry him.

When Perry transferred to Berry College in 2015, she and Taylor became friends in their own right during his final semester. He drove her to church, they hung out with mutual friends, and she even hosted his sister during a visit. At the time, Taylor didn’t know they’d end up together, although Perry had taken notice of him.

After Taylor graduated and moved away for medical school, they lost touch for nearly 10 years. That is, until they reconnected at Berry’s alumni weekend. Through many phone calls and weekend trips between Atlanta and Birmingham, they realized that in those years apart, God had shaped each of them into the person the other had prayed for, and God brought them back together at just the right time in their lives. Taylor and Perry are so grateful for all of you who have played a part in their story and are excited to celebrate with you!
