Gearing up for a night out with my best friend Lydia, we discovered an unexpected twist to the evening. Intrigued by the boisterous neighbors, we ventured to Jo-Cat's, a local bar, where my path crossed with Peter, living just across the street from Lydia.

Soon after meeting we had our first date at Jazz in the Park. Our connection really grew from here by learning and sharing stories about each other’s lives and values.

Shortly after, life took us on separate professional journeys, but we always remained connected. Despite the distances and the demands of busy seasons, our path’s stayed intertwined.

In 2020, the pandemic brought challenges, but that time also strengthened our bond. Emerging from lockdown, we seized every moment, learning, and evolving together. Through job changes, tough times, entering boat life together, and sharing in celebrations, we stood by each other in love.

In the chapters that followed, I got to share my love of the city with Peter, while he added a dash of adventure to my life. Our differences became the sparks that fueled our shared journey of personal growth.
