Peter and Sarah got paired up for an exchange program in Florence called "English for Pasta". They spent every Tuesday having dinner with three amazing families (kids pictured here). On the two mile walk to the dinner, Sarah and Peter got to know each other. At the end of the semester, they admitted that they "liked" each other. Sarah remembers first realizing she had feelings for Peter after a 23 mile trek across Florence, capped by a pizza dinner and trip to a local jazz club. Peter's feelings dated back well before that.

Senior year at Gonzaga begins. Peter and Sarah's love grew stronger as they bonded over their love for the outdoors, running (they ran the Spokane marathon together!), playing rediculous board games (including the original creation Arghy), attending Jacklando concerts, skiing at Schweitzer, and eating vegan pizza. Pictured is the dog that Sarah and Peter would've adopted had it not been for Jack Roberts' compelling argument against that decision. Thank you Jack. We named the dog Cannoli after our favorite Italian dessert. We miss him and often wonder where Cannoli is today.

The day the shutdown began. As Peter and Sarah's time at Gonzaga started to wind down, they were kicked out of their classrooms and into their luxury Logan neighborhood homes. When they weren't vigorously studying, they spent their time riding bikes, playing frisbee golf around the neighborhood, breaking Mario Kart grand prix records, and making more delicious vegan pancakes.
