Our Wedding

Peter and Brenda met in high school in December of 2007. Although they went to separate high schools, Brenda to Norwell High, and Peter to Boston College High, they had mutual friends. They met one night at Brenda's friend Meghan's house, and the rest was history! Meghan is one of Brenda's bridesmaids at the wedding. Peter and Brenda have now been together for eight years!

How We Met

Peter and Brenda became engaged on November 7, 2014. It was a Friday, and both of them had the day off from work. Peter had planned the whole night in advance. He had bought the ring two months prior and had asked Brenda's parents for permission; the whole thing was a secret! On that night, Peter and Brenda met up with Pete's brother, Paul, in the city of Boston for supposed "dinner plans." While the three of them were walking through Boston Common on the way to dinner, Paul suggested that he take a picture of Peter and Brenda by the water. Brenda was reluctant, as the weather was chilly and windy, but Paul insisted. When they posed for the picture, Peter got down on his knee, took a ring box out of his peacoat, and proposed! Brenda said yes! Then, Peter and Brenda went to dinner just the two of them at Tuscano's restaurant, where Peter had already arranged for roses and champagne to be waiting for them at the table.

The Engagement

MSU was arguably the best time of Peter and Brenda's lives so far! Peter, being from Michigan, chose to attend Michigan State University for college. He and Brenda dated long distance during his freshman year. Brenda, a year younger than Peter, joined him at MSU the following year. Peter pledged a fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, and Brenda became a member of a sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. The two attended football games, classes, social events, and overall had an amazing four years. They return to their alma mater every year for a Spartan football game. Several of their friends from Michigan will be standing by them on their wedding day as groomsmen and bridesmaids! Go Green!

Our wedding activities are approximately 30-45 minutes away from the airport, so we suggest renting a car for the weekend. The airport has many rental cars available, just make sure to book one in advance.

Norris Reservation contains scenic trails in Brenda's hometown of Norwell. There is parking available on site. Allow yourself about an hour to explore! The trails are a 2-mile loop. Be sure to wear sneakers and be careful of tree roots when you walk.
