Transportation to Whidbey Island

This shuttle service offers a cost-effective, convenient way to travel between Whidbey Island and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Book online using your flight information to make a suitable reservation. For details on scheduling, fares, and pick-up/drop-off locations, visit their website!

Whidbey SeaTac Shuttle & Charter

Whidbey Island is served by two ferry routes: Mukilteo to Clinton and Port Townsend to Coupeville. For the shortest route from SeaTac Airport or Seattle, use the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal. This ferry DOES NOT allow for reservations, while the Port Townsend ferry does. Visit this website for information, schedules, and tips! The ferry line can be very long, so give yourself plenty of time to get to the ceremony on time.

If you rent a car and are picking it up at the SeaTac airport, proceed to the baggage claim level.&nbsp;Exit through doors 1 or 15 and proceed to the designated rental car shuttle bus stops. The common airport shuttle bus will take you to the rental car facility!

It’s known for its beautiful waterfront views and serene atmosphere, making it a popular getaway spot! It's amazing location and amenities make it stand out as one of the best spots to stay on the island.

Ebey’s Landing Trail at Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve is another of the island’s most popular hiking spots. Located 5 minutes from our venue, the park spans a seaside bluff with sweeping views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountain Range, and acres of farmland dotted with historic homes.

In the 1990s, the community came together to save the farm from being developed into housing, and it’s now a non-profit owned by the Port of Coupeville. The farm features two art galleries, a café with homemade pies, and local wine shops selling wine, jams, maple syrups, and cheese. Additionally, there’s a 2.8-mile loop trail through woods and farmland with scenic water and mountain views, plus an off-leash dog park.

Langley, known as the "Village by the Sea," is just a 30-minute drive from the Clinton ferry dock. This charming seaside town serves as the cultural heart of the island, offering a delightful array of galleries, restaurants, cafes, and shops. While you're there, be sure to stop by The Langley Whale Center for expert advice on the best whale-watching spots and charter options on the island!

Just south of Coupeville, Fort Casey Historical State Park contains the remains of an 1890s military fort.&nbsp;On the extensive grounds, you can hike, walk through the partially underground fort, and check out the cannons and barracks. The highlight, though, is the historic lighthouse, which is now a museum open to the public!

Deception Pass State Park features more than 4,000 acres, including trails winding through old-growth forests replete with lush mossy evergreens, wildflowers, copious wildlife, and miles of stunning shoreline.&nbsp;If you're visiting the state park at the end of the wedding weekend, you can easily take the bridge to Fidalgo Island, where you’ll follow the highway to the mainland and merge back onto Interstate 5 to head back to Seattle!

How do I RSVP?

Please RSVP by July 15 using this <a href="www.theknot.com/peterandmaisy/rsvp" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">link</a> or the "RSVP" tab on our website!

What is the dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal, so you’ll have the perfect opportunity to dress up with us while being comfortable. Our wedding is outdoors, so wear shoes that are appropriate and comfortable for walking in the grass!&nbsp;

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one or my children?

Our venue can only accommodate the number of guests specified in your RSVP. We kindly ask that you attend alone unless your invitation states otherwise. When you look up your name under the <a href="www.theknot.com/peterandmaisy/rsvp" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">RSVP</a> tab, it will show anyone in your party!

Is parking available at the venue?

There are ~60 parking spots available at the Jenne Farm. We encourage you to carpool if you're able to!

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm, so please arrive by 3:15 pm. Thank you!

What ferry should we catch to arrive on time?

To make it to the&nbsp;3:30 PM ceremony in Coupeville, we recommend taking the&nbsp;1:30 PM ferry from Mukilteo to Clinton. The ferry ride is about&nbsp;20 minutes, and the drive from the Clinton ferry terminal to Coupeville takes approximately&nbsp;35–40 minutes. This schedule gives you enough time to arrive, park, and settle in before the ceremony begins. Tip:&nbsp;Ferries can fill up, especially on weekends, so we suggest arriving at the terminal&nbsp;at least 45 minutes early to ensure you get on the 1:30 PM sailing. You can check the ferry schedule and wait times at&nbsp;wsdot.wa.gov/ferries.

What will the weather be like?

In August, daytime temperatures usually range from the mid-60s to mid-70s. It’s often sunny or partly cloudy, with less rainfall compared to other times of the year in WA. The evenings can be cooler, dropping into the 50s. Please bring layers if you think you may get cold!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to the Jacobsen's home, 721 North Yakima Ave, Tacoma, WA 98403. A wedding card box will be at our ceremony and reception.
