Peter and Nadia were introduced by close mutual friends. For their first date, Peter drove from FL to NY just to take Nadia to dinner at a local restaurant in their hometown of Binghamton, NY. Afterward, he set up a movie night under the stars on his family’s farm. He built a 15 foot projector screen himself with a view of the city and had Nadia’s favorite wine shipped in.

After graduating college, Nadia packed her bags for a visit to Jacksonville, Florida, where Peter was living at the time. What was meant to be a quick trip turned into an extended stay and a chapter they’ll always remember. Not long after, Nadia returned to New York to begin her first nursing job and Peter followed shortly after (though he’ll tell everyone it wasn’t because of her).

Eventually, life led them south again, this time to Sarasota, FL, a place that instantly felt like home. Four years later, during a dream trip to Italy, Peter proposed with a surprise sunset boat ride off the coast of Positano. The moment was so perfect that Nadia actually forgot to say “yes” right away (don’t worry, she clarified shortly after!)
