The Acropolis is the most iconic landmark of Athens and a must-see for any visitor. Syntagma Square is the political heart of Athens, home to the Greek Parliament. The Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which is a tribute to fallen soldiers.

The change of the guard takes place every hour on the hour.

Cape Sounion is located about 70 kilometers southeast of Athens, on the southernmost tip of the Attica Peninsula.
