Unfortunately Mary’s Grandparents have passed away. Her Pap and Gaga meant the world to her and it breaks her heart they both never got to meet Peter and/or get to attend her wedding.

Mary did take Peter to her grandparents grave site right outside of Pittsburgh. It was the only way Mary knew how to introduce Peter to her grandparents. Mary believes they would have approved of Peter especially because he has blue eyes just like the rest of their family.

John and Mary Kosko were married for over 50 years before John passed away. John was a WW2 Veteran and Mary built rockets for the military during that time. They met after John served in the war and fell in love. Their love and kindness to each other and to the world was a true inspiration. The bride was actually named after her grandma which is another reason why the two were so close.

The bride’s flower for the wedding is a rose because they were her Gaga’s favorite. She is also incorporating a couple of her Pap and Gaga’s favorite songs into the wedding day so they can be part of the special day in spirit.
